The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Background information

This COP29 side event, co-hosted by Azerbaijan and the IEA, will spotlight clean cooking as an important issue at COP, highlighting efforts to mobilise more public and private sector support. Following the Summit on Clean Cooking for Africa in May 2024, the event aims to integrate national commitments into future NDCs, connect clean cooking to broader issues and encourage other countries to make clean cooking a national priority. Additionally, the event will showcase progress on commitments announced at the Summit, alongside new announcements of financing and investment.
