The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

This COP29 side event will bring together Digital Demand-Driven Electricity Networks (3DEN) initiative partners and pilot projects leads to celebrate the achievements and reflect on the lessons learned from Phase I (2020-2024). Participants will discuss the impact of digital tools on grid optimisation and demand-side management, focusing on how these technologies enhance energy efficiency and reliability. With an eye on the future and Phase II, the event will also introduce and launch the new call for pilot projects, which aims to accelerate the digitalisation of agro-food and urban systems, with a geographical focus on Africa.

The event will serve as a platform for knowledge-sharing and strategic planning for modernising energy systems through international collaboration.
