The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Launch of IEA for EU4Energy Energy Efficiency for Roadmap for Azerbaijan

Background information

This COP29 side event features the launch of a new IEA roadmap, supported by the European Commission via the EU4Energy Programme, which examines Azerbaijan’s energy efficiency policies across multiple sectors and provides a series of recommendations to 2040 in support of the country’s goals towards greater efficiency across its economy. The event will feature a panel discussion with representatives from the IEA, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy and international financial institutions. It will focus on how Azerbaijan could implement a range of policies to strengthen energy efficiency while meeting its commitments on reducing carbon emissions.
