Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

2nd Gas Data Transparency Conference

Background

The 2nd Gas Data Transparency Conference is being held in response to a strong call from energy Ministers at the 13th IEF Ministerial in Kuwait (March 2012) for an extension of the Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI) to cover natural gas.

The conference will assess the availability of gas data, review experiences of gas data collection at local, regional and international levels, and discuss the framework necessary to establish a monthly gas data mechanism as a global gas data transparency initiative.

The Conference is co-organised by the JODI partner organisations and will gather over 80 participants from producer-consumer countries, organisations, gas industry and other sectors.
