Background Information
The annual Global EV Outlook identifies and analyses recent developments in electric mobility across the globe. It is developed with support from members of the Electric Vehicles Initiative (EVI). Combining historic findings with projections to 2030, the report examines key areas such as deployment of electric vehicles (EV) and charging infrastructure, energy use, CO2 emissions and battery demand. The report incorporates lessons from frontrunner markets to help policy makers and stakeholders identify the measures and market systems that would best support electric vehicle adoption.
