The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP)

The National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) defines Luxembourg’s climate policy goals through 2030. Luxembourg's main objectives by 2030 indicated in the Plan are as follows:

 

• Reduction of GHG emissions compared to 2005: -50% to -55%
• Introduction of a climate law

• Share of renewables in gross final energy consumption between 23% and 25%

• Improvements of energy efficiency by 40% to 44% with respect to the business-as-usual PRIMES model
