Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

DOE DC2016-04-0005 PPR 01: air conditioners labelling

In the "DC2016: Philippine Standards and Labelling Program" (see other policy entry) standard and labelling for several electrical equipement were defined. In particular the labelling class (1 to 5 stars) for window and split type air conditioners were determined as follows:

 

fixed speed below 3.33 kW

  • one star: CSPF (Cooling Seasonal Performance Factor) 2.90 to 2.93
  • two stars: CSPF 2.94 to 3.03  
  • three stars: CSPF 3.04 to 3.24 
  • four stars: CSPF 3.25 to 3.99 
  • five stars: CSPF 4.00 and above 

fixed speed above 3.33 kW

  • one star: CSPF 2.81 to 2.83
  • two stars: CSPF 2.84 to 2.94 
  • three stars: CSPF 2.95 to 3.12 
  • four stars: CSPF 3.13 to 3.76
  • five stars: CSPF 3.77 and above 

variable speed below 3.33 kW

  • four stars: CSPF 3.25 to 3.99
  • five stars: : CSPF 4.00 and above 

variable speed above 3.33 kW

  • four stars: CSPF 3.13 to 3.76 
  • five stars: CSPF 3.77 and above
