The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Japan introduced new tax system for promoting energy efficiency in May 2018.

 

Economic operators classifed as energy efficiency operators under the operator classification and evaluation scheme of the Energy Conservation Act can benefit from accelerated depreciation (30%) of their investments in energy efficiency.
