This standard establishes the thermal performance specifications of solar water heaters for domestic and commercial use, thermosiphon type, that have a thermal tank with a maximum capacity of 500 liters; the gas saving of solar water heaters with the backing of a water heater that uses LP gas or natural gas as fuel.
