Energy efficiency labelling and standard for air cleaner

Source: International Energy Agency
Last updated: 28 November 2019

The standard of the energy efficiency labelling grade 2 for an air cleaner was strengthened by approximately 20% since 2018.

The energy efficiency level index for a grade 2 air cleaner should not exceed 0.70. The energy efficiency level index is defined as power consumption per 1 m2 and calculated as power consumption measured (W) divided by the standard usage area (m2).
