Obligation for CO2 Compensation by Fuel Importers

Importers of transportation fuels are obliged to compensate up to 10% of the fuel related carbon emissions by domestic projects. Domestic projects can be in other sectors than transporation, but they must be additional to exisiting measures such as the building refurbishment programm or the mineral oil tax exempation of biofuels.
