Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Universal Access Fund

The Lesotho Electricity and Water Authority has set up a the Fund for purposes of subsidizing the capital costs of electricity service infrastructure in rural areas identified by Government. The Fund is replenished by the electrification levy collected by the public utility the Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC). Renewable electricity generation projects are also eligible.
