Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Unserved Areas Electrification Programme

In 2004 Guyana initiated the Unserved Areas Electrification Programme through an IDB loan of USD 34,4 million. The programme ended in 2010, with a total of 1,750 solar systems were installed in homes, schools and other community buildings across 21 villages.
