Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

The Electricity Law (No. 13/2007 and No.123/2012)

The Electricity Law (No. 13/2007) was created mainly due to necessity to adjust electricity sector of Romania to the provisions included in EU Directives 54/2003/CE and 8/2004/CE. In comparison to the Electricity Law (No. 318/2003) it outlines in detail licensing matter (administrative process and fees).
