The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Electricity Generation Expansion Plan (2013-2027)

In order to contribute to the analysis of the technical and economic feasibility of power generation projects derived from the need to increase new power generation capacity based on renewable resources, the Ministry of Energy and Mines developed an Indicative Electricity Generation Plan (2013-2027) under different country energy demand scenarios.

The Plan provides valuable information to operators and the State of Nicaragua; driving the investments required for the development of power generationfor the interconnected national grid.
