Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Interministerial order of November 29, 2008 - Classification of the energy efficiency of domestic appliances

This regulation applies to:

  • Refrigerators, freezers and combined appliances
  • Domestic air conditioners
  • Domestic lighting

 

Regarding domestic energy conditioners the classes are determined as follow:

 

Split and multi-split air conditioners (air-cooled):

  • A class: 3,20 < EER
  • B class: 3,20 = EER > 3,00
  • C class: 3,00 = EER > 2,80
  • D class: 2,80 = EER > 2,60
  • E class: 2,60 = EER > 2,40
  • F class: 2,40 = EER > 2,20
  • G class: 2,20 = EER

 

Packaged air conditioners (air-cooled):

  • A class: 3,00 < EER
  • B class: 3,00 = EER > 2,80
  • C class: 2,80 = EER > 2,60
  • D class: 2,60 = EER > 2,40
  • E class: 2,40 = EER > 2,20
  • F class: 2,20 = EER > 2,00
  • G class: 2,00 = EER

 

Single ducted air conditioners (air-cooled):

  • A class: 2,60 < EER
  • B class: 2,60 = EER > 2,40
  • C class: 2,40 = EER > 2,20
  • D class: 2,20 = EER > 2,00
  • E class: 2,00 = EER > 1,80
  • F class: 1,80 = EER > 1,60
  • G class: 1,60 = EER

 

Split and multi-split air conditioners (water-cooled):

  • A class: 3,60 < EER
  • B class: 3,60 = EER > 3,30
  • C class: 3,30 = EER > 3,10
  • D class: 3,10 = EER > 2,80
  • E class: 2,80 = EER > 2,50
  • F class: 2,50 = EER > 2,20
  • G class: 2,20 = EER

 

Packaged air conditioners (water-cooled):

  • A class: 4,40 < EER
  • B class: 4,40 = EER > 4,10
  • C class: 4,10 = EER > 3,80
  • D class: 3,80 = EER > 3,50
  • E class: 3,50 = EER > 3,20
  • F class: 3,20 = EER > 2,90
  • G class: 2,90 = EER
