Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

2014 Automobile Industry Stategy

The Japan Revitalization Strategy Revised in 2015 (Cabinet approval on June 30th,2015) states “(Next-generation automobiles) aim to increase the share of newautomobiles accounted for by next-generation automobiles to between 50 % and 70% by 2030”. This was followed by the “2014 Automobile Industry Strategy” of theMinistry of Economy, Trade and Industry METI.
