The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Surcharge on electric transmission grid

Final consumers of electricity pay a surcharge of 2.3 CHF-ct./kWh on the fees for the transmission grid. The funds are allocated to renewable energies (PV, Wind, Biomass, Hydro) and energy efficiency (electric efficiency tenders).
