Source: International Energy Agency
Last updated: 24 March 2021
This standard applies to distribution transformers of different types: pole, substation, pedestal and submersible, self-cooled in insulating liquid; to new equipment or repair, reconstruction or reinstallation with the purpose of being commercialized in national territory. It establishes the minimum allowable efficiencies referred to a load factor of 80% for the distribution transformers (Efficiency in%) and the maximum total allowed losses referred to a load factor of 80% (Units in W). See the attachments for the minimum efficiency levels.
