Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Energy efficiency requirement for window type air conditioners

This standard defines minimum energy efficiency ratio of window type  air conditioners with power capacity less than 3 kW.

 

Unitary (old CNS 3615)  

  • CC Less than 2,000Kcal/h: EER 2.33 (9.24)
  • CC above 2,000 Kcal/h and below 3,550Kcal/h: EER (kcal/h-W) 2.38 EER(BTU/h-W) 9.44
  • CC above 3550 Kcal/h: EER (kcal/h-W) 2.24 EER(BTU/h-W) 8.89

 

Unitary (new CNS3615 and CNS14464)

  • CC Less than 2.3 kW: EER (W/W) 2.71
  • CC between 2.3 kW and 4.1 Kw: EER (W/W) 2.77  
  • CC above 4.1 kW: EER (W/W) 2.60

 

Split (old CNS 3615)

  • below 3,550Kcal/h:
    • fixed speed: EER 2.55(10.12)
    • variable speed: EER 2.38(9.44)
  • above 3550 Kcal/h: EER 2.35(9.32)

 

Split (new CNS3615 and CNS14464)  :

  • below 4.1 kW:
    • fixed speed: EER 2.97
    • variable speed: EER 2.77

above 4.1 kW: EER 2.73
