The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Applies to window and split air conditioner produced in Brazil or imported to Brazil. More stringent standards have been put in place under Cross-Ministry Ruling No. 323/2011.

 

Window  AC

  • Cooling capacity = 9.000 Btu/h (2.637 W) - COP 2.08 W/W
  • 9.000 < CC < 14.000 Btu/h (2.637 < CC < 4.102 W) - COP 2.16 W/W
  • 14.000 = CC < 20.000 Btu/h (4.102 = CC < 5.860 W) - COP 2.24 W/W
  • 20.000 = CR Btu/h (5.860 = CC W) - COP 2.11 W/W

 

Split AC

CC = 36.000 Btu/h (CC = 10.548 W) - COP 2.39 W/W

 

The identification label for the equipment must clearly contain their energy efficiency index.
