The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Canada - Israel Free Trade Agreement

The Canada-Israel Free Trade Agreement (CIFTA) took effect on January 1, 1997, removing tariffs on all industrial goods produced in Canada and Israel, along with a select number of agricultural and fisheries products. The agreement provides for the elimination of tariffs for the following goods, among others:

  • Primary cells and primary batteries : Manganese dioxide;
  • Heat pumps; 
  • Electric vehicles (Tariff treatment granted only by Canada);


"Fuel and energy" are classified as neutral elements, for which determination of origin does not need to be ascertained.
