The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

The role of the Energy Technology Development Programme is to define priorities of the R&D in Estonia. The programme provides funding for the energy reasearch through calls of proposals. Research projects in the field of renewable energy include projects on integration of small-scale RE production in electricity network, solar energy, biogas and 2nd generation biofuels.
