Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Powering Australia Plan

To match its commitment to reach Net-Zero by 2050, the Australian government developed in 2022 the "Powering Australia Plan", aiming at: 

  • Decarbonising the industry, power and transport sectors
  • Fostering the creation of new jobs
  • Ensuring the energy security and affordability across the country. 

October's 2022-23 federal budget included a AUD 45.8 million fund over 6 years to enact this plan.
