The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Increasing electricity capacity is a national priority in Myanmar 

In 2021, the Myanmar government issued tax reduction on imported and exported for electricity  to attract investment under section 77 (b) of the Myanmar Investment Law for the Investment Commission (MIC).
