The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Competitions for offshore wind development

The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy of Norway announced competition procedures to allocate project areas for the development of 30,000 MW of offshore wind by 2040.  Developers can bid for projects in two areas on the Norwegian continental shelf: Sørlige Nordsjø II and Utsira Nord in 2023.
