Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Resolution N°492 on requirements of the Air Pollution Control Programme for Motor Vehicles

This regulation sets emission standards for light-duty vehicles. 

As of January 2022, new maximum pollution limits (PROCONVE L7) are in place for new passenger and commercial vehicles. 
During the P-L7 phase, limits are set to be: 
- 80-320 mg/km of NMOG + NOx
- 1000 mg/km of CO for passenger cars

PROCONVE L8 phase is set to start in January 2025, with limits announced as: 
- 0-320 mg/km of NMOG + NOx
- 2-1,000 mg/km of CO for all vehicles
