Ma prime Rénov

In the framework of its Economic and Social Resilience Plan, the French government enacted an enlargement of "Ma prime Rénov", a revenue-based subsidy scheme aimed at boosting home retrofits, from mid-April 2022 to the end of the year. The scheme was later extended in 2023, and support for the installation of high-efficiency gas-based heating systems was then scrapped. 

In 2024, the scheme was further revised to better target low-revenue households and incentivize both one-off energy-efficient ameliorations (such as boiler upgrades) and more energy-efficient renovations combining several ameliorations.
