Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

This bill directs the Department of Environmental Quality to specify insurance requirements for CO2 storage permits, establishes a CO2 storage fund for the costs associated with long-term storage site stewardship, and clarifies that the state does not automatically assume long-term liability of the closed storage site.
