Prime Minister Decree No. 1129 of 2019

The decree establishes and demarks the role of the National Council for Climate Change. The council tasks are to:

• Prepare the national policies related to climate change
• Increase scientific knowledge and awareness about climate change 
• Couple climate change and Sustainable development awareness
• Follow international agreements related to climate change
• Align policies and strategies with climate change goals
