The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Law on Climate and Resilience - Right to veto wind turbines

An amendment was adopted by the Senate on June 18, 2021, giving the right for municipalities and their mayor to veto wind turbine projects. This amendment is part of the Climate and Resilience Law. 
The amendment was rejected by the National Assembly in December the same year, and is not part of the final version of the law.
