Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Lands of the Energy Sector

Amendments to the Land Code in 2016 specified category of Lands of the Energy Sector and authorizes placement of RE facilities, thermal power plants and other electric power plants that serve such installations and facilities on the Lands of the Energy Sector. The Land Code authorizes granting Water Fund Lands for limited-time/temporary use for placement of facilities for use of renewable energy source.
