Net-zero energy for Zibi community

The Canadian federal government and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) aim to create a Net-Zero Community by investing CAD 23 million in Hydro Ottawa. This will help achieve the objective of the Zibi community of lowering greenhouse gas emissions from building heating and cooling by using locally generated hydroelectricity from the Ottawa River.
