Imposition of Basic Custom Duty (BCD) on Solar PV Cells & Modules/Panels

To scale up of domestic solar manufacturing and to improve the export market for solar cells  &  modules/panels, the Ministry of Finance has approved a basic custom dusty to be levied on solar cells and modules.       

 

The Basic Custom Duty is as follows:     

Up to 31 March 2022:  Solar module: 0%   Solar cell: 0%     

We.f. 1 April 2022:  Solar modle: 40%  Solar cell: 25%
