Housing Energy Performance diagnosis (DPE) revision

Source: International Energy Agency
Last updated: 18 November 2022

Provided for by the ELAN law promulgated in 2018, the revised energy performance diagnosis (DPE) will come into force on 1 July 2021. The DPE provides information on the energy performance of a dwelling and, in particular, guides choices in terms of renovation work.   The revision of the energy performance diagnosis takes into account a unified calculation method and more readable indicators (from A to G). It also takes into account the double energy-carbon threshold to determine energy labels.
