The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Smart Mobility Strategy - Alternative Fuel Infrastructure, FuelEU Maritime

The aim of the FuelEU Maritime initiative, which is a part of the Fit for 55 package, is to increase the use of sustainable alternative fuels (SAF) in European shipping and ports (as they account for 11% of all EU CO2 emissions from transport). In order to reach EU’s ambition of climate-neutrality by 2050, the European Commission aims to address market barriers that hamper the use of SAF as well as support technological options that are market-ready. 

In March 2023, the Council and the European Parliament reached a provisional agreement on the FuelEU Maritime initiative, and will be implemented pending their formal approval.
