The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Updated Minimum Efficiency Standards for PTAC

Each standard size packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) manufactured on or after January 1, 2017 must meet the applicable minimum energy efficiency standard level(s) as detailed below.

 

PTAC Standard Size

<7,000 Btu/h - EER = 11.9

=7,000 Btu/h and =15,000 Btu/h - EER = 14.0-(0.3 × Cap 1)

>15,000 Btu/h - EER = 9.5
