Notes

The graphs represent officially reported curtailed or constrained energy and also combine various schemes depending on the country. In the case of Ontario, a greater proportion of wind energy was dispatched down in 2016 than in 2015, due to a market rule change for the floor price of renewables in February 2016. Additionally, the reporting scheme changed from covering just wind to all VRE sources 2017.
