Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

STEPS = Stated Policies Scenario; SDS = Sustainable Development Scenario. Electricity networks include also battery storage investment. Projected investment levels are from the World Energy Outlook 2019; the point of comparison is the period from 2025 30 in order to provide an indicative post recovery benchmark for spending levels.
