Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Notes

Peat and oil shale are aggregated with coal. Other renewables includes geothermal, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic and wind. Solar and wind were at 0 in 1971, hence computing a growth rate is not possible. Solar includes solar thermal and solar photovoltaic.
