The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Changes in hydropower outputs are calculated assuming that the availability of the hydropower plant fleet in each region remained consistent with 2022 levels throughout 2023 and take into account capacity additions in 2023.
